Call or contact us
We ask a few questions about your home, your goals, and your existing electrical setup so we can show up to the site visit prepared.
- 2
Site visit and proposal
We come to your home, assess the panel, fuel supply, and placement options, and provide a written proposal that includes permit fees. No hidden line items.

We power everything up, test the system under load, walk you through the controls, and confirm everything is working before we leave.
What Does It Cost?
Cost depends on the specifics of your home and the scope of the job. Anyone who gives you a firm price without seeing your property is guessing. That said, here is what drives the number for the two most common jobs we do:
Whole-Home Generator Installation
- Generator size: Units range from 7 kW (essential circuits only) to 24 kW (full home including large AC). A load calculation determines the right size, bigger is not always better.
- Gas line run: The distance from your gas meter or LP tank to the generator placement affects material and labor cost. Longer runs cost more.
- Panel work: If your existing panel is full, undersized, or in poor condition, a panel upgrade will be included in the quote before the generator can be added.
- Permit fees: County permit fees are passed through at cost. Fees vary between Palm Beach County and Brevard County and are included in your written proposal.
Panel Upgrades
A 100A to 200A service upgrade typically involves replacing the panel, reconnecting all circuits, coordinating a utility disconnect, and pulling a permit. The variables are the condition of your existing service entrance, whether the utility requires a meter socket upgrade, and whether the job is bundled with a generator installation (which usually reduces the combined cost).
We do not quote panel upgrades over the phone without a site visit. The scope matters too much to guess.
